I decided to take the most interesting Kickstarter stats from that article and put them together in an infographic. I’ve never actually made an infographic before, so this is my very first attempt! I used Piktochart to make it and I think it turned out pretty good.
So without further ado, here it is:
Infographic showing all the steps required to successfully fund a Kickstarter campaign.
Here’s a summary of some of the key stats:
70% of successfully funded campaigns have a funding target of less than $10k (and a good number of those are actually less than $1k) — don’t aim too high, especially for your first campaign
45% of successful Kickstarter projects are related to Media, i.e. Film, Music, and Publishing — those might be a good first choice for you to consider
You can increase your chances of success dramatically by including a campaign video and posting regular updates (at least a few times a week) to your campaign page
If you’re interested in seeing more, be sure to check my other post which will give you all of the Kickstarter stats I’ve compiled
What do you think? If you like this infographic please by all means share it, post it, print it — do anything you want with it, but please provide a link back to Art of Crowdfunding.
